If you've been thinking about a laptop upgrade, now's the time to grab one at significantly less than the normal rate, and I've been scouring the Amazon website to find the most appealing deals so far.
Whether you're looking for a laptop powered by Windows, macOS, or ChromeOS, there's something to tempt you here?and I've also picked out some of the best gaming laptops for October Prime Day, if you need that extra performance boost for your games (just don't expect much in the way of battery life).

If you're in the market for an everyday Windows laptop to handle basic computing tasks, these models currently offer plenty of power and features for knock-down prices.

Acer Chromebook 516 GE: Chromebooks aren't really gaming laptops?until you connect them to the cloud, that is.
