Streaming services have basically come full circle: What started as a cheap alternative to cable TV has become an expensive monthly cost in its own right, as price hikes and crackdowns on password sharing have made subscribing to multiple streaming services just as expensive, if not more so, than some conventional cable plans.
Luckily, there are often discounts, deals, and loopholes to exploit that can make streaming more affordable?and sometimes even free. Here are the best deals you can get right now on all the major streamers.
This month's best streaming deals
If you're a Hulu subscriber, keep in mind the Hulu+ Live (with ads) price will increase to $82.99 on Oct. 17, and to $94.99 for Hulu+Live (no ads).
The very best streaming deals right now are for Paramount+ and Peacock. Curiosity Stream
Save $20 when you sign up for a Standard Curiosity Stream annual plan and $50 when you sign up for the Smart Bundle annual plan.
DirecTV Stream
You can get two years of Max, Showtime, Starz, MGM+, and Cinemax with the purchase of the Premier package starting at $154.99 per month (save $10 per month).
