An elderly man who left home in anger 50 years ago has returned home years ago, to the delight of his family and friends who had been looking for him.

Did Kiplel's family look for him?
According to NTV, Peter Kiplel Arap Ruto was angered when a white settler took his sheep, which had invaded his plantation.
"Only one thing could have happened; they would have sent me away," said Kiplel.
Ten years after he disappeared, his family was told that he had been seen at the border of Kericho and Uasin Gisu county.
"It was not the first time we had been looking for him; recently, we heard that he was at some place and we sent our kids to go and find him. When they got there, they realised that he was the one," said his brother Jackson Kelel.
Where was Kiplel working for 50 years?
It turned out that Kiplel had been working at Grace Biwott's home in Keses constituency, Uasin Gishu, for 30 years.
"We hired him to get rid of monkeys and we also gave him food," said Grace Biwott.
"He has been a good man all along; when he came, my mother took him to church," said Elkanah Kirui, Grace's son.
According to Jackson, Kiplel's excited brother, he didn't know how he would behave when they met. When they finally met, he couldn't stop wiping his tears, saying that they were all happy to see him.
"Having fan can really make you live on the fast lane and its good to try and take it slow," said Kiplel.
Makueni man returns home after 44 years
