Play Ghostbusters, Dead Island 2 and More on PlayStation Plus for Halloween
PlayStation Plus is Sony's version of Xbox Game Pass, and it offers subscribers a large and constantly expanding library of games. There are three PlayStation Plus tiers -- Essential ($10 a month), Extra ($15 a month) and Premium ($18 a month) -- and each gives subscribers access to games. However, only subscribers to the Extra and Premium tiers can access the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog.
PlayStation added over a dozen games to its Game Catalog in September, including the action-adventure game The Plucky Squire, and it plans to add these next games to the service on Oct. 15.
Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed
Prove that you and your friends aren't afraid of no ghosts or slime your opponents as a paranormal entity in this multiplayer game based on the popular film series. Don your proton pack as a member of the new generation of Ghostbusters as you try to rid the world of ghosts. As a Ghostbuster you'll trap ghosts using familiar gadgets, like the iconic Particle Thrower. And if you're a ghost you have to haunt a location while avoiding getting trapped. Dan Aykroyd and Ernie Hudson reprise their roles as Ray Stantz and Winston Zeddemore from the series in this game, so back off man, they're scientists.
Dead Island 2

Take on the zombie-infested streets of Los Angeles in this action-adventure game. But it's not all doom and gloom. The dark humor in this gory title is reminiscent of films like Zombieland and Tucker and Dale vs. Evil, so don't be surprised if you chuckle to yourself as you swing a bat at a zombie's head.
The Dark Pictures Anthology: The Devil in Me

Your documentary film crew was invited to shoot in a replica of serial killer H. H. Holmes' hotel, and now that you're there you and your crew have to find a way to survive. The game has five playable protagonists you can choose from, but there's no guarantee all five characters will make it out alive. Your choices influence the outcome of the game, so choose carefully or you might not checkout on time.
