How much did William Ruto donate in Eldoret?

Speaking at AIC Kipkorgot in Uasin Gishu county on Sunday, December 22, the president stated that no person can get it wrong when donating in church.

Ruto, who donated KSh 5 million for the Sunday School at the church, said he was a living testimony of what God can do in one's life when one freely donates to religious organisations.

"For those of you who may not know, I can give you free advice; you will never go wrong by giving to God, and if you want evidence, look at me. I am a living testimony of a person who never went wrong for giving to God," Ruto said.

The president said despite ongoing criticism; he has no apology to make for giving millions in church.

"I am a product of giving and I am very proud and I have no apology to make, I have no regret whatsoever for giving to God because God gives back in equal measure," he added.

The president's sentiments come several weeks after Nairobi Archdiocese Bishop Philip Anyolo rejected Ruto's KSh's 5.8 million donations.

The head of state had donated KSh 600,000 to the choir and KSh 2 million for the construction of the Father?s House, along with a promise of an additional KSh 3 million and a parish bus.
