The Monday, December 23 accident happened at SGR Section 5, near the Duka Moja area between Suswa and Enkare.

Kenya Redcross confirmed the accident, saying it involved six vehicles, including a Prado, a bus, a shuttle, and a trailer.

"A road traffic incident involving six vehicles has occurred at Maltauro, along the Narok-Mai Mahiu Road. Several injured people have been rushed to Narok County Referral Hospital.@PoliceKe and response teams, including @EMS_Kenya,are currently at the scene," Kenya Red Cross said.

Emergency response teams are on-site, working to clear the wreckage and assist those involved.

Photos from the scene seen by TUKO.co.ke, the aftermath of the accident shows debris strewn across the road, indicating how bad the accident was.

The number of casualties has yet to be determined at the time of the publishing of this article.
