Zipporah Kata was reportedly involved in fraternisation with her senior boss, which she claims she later paid for dearly and regrettably.

According to the Cambridge Dictionary, fraternisation is the action of meeting someone socially, especially someone who belongs to an opposing army or team, or has a different social position.

Speaking to TUKO.co.ke, Zipporah, a mother of two lovely girls, claimed that having a romantic relationship with her alleged commanding officer cost her job.

" I was promoted from senior private to corporal after finishing my studies in the barracks. I was transferred to another post, which was the Defence Staff College. So after the transfer, the boss I found there started fraternising with me. So I was told that I'd be serving him tea and handling anything to do with his food, but I didn't want it, and I wasn't happy about it. So, because of the duty that I was given, we used to see each other a lot. The relationship lasted from May 2019 till November 2019," she claimed.

What was Zipporah doing in Isiolo?

Before the relationship went sideways, Zipporah had joined the Six Brigades, a military unit set to be deployed to Somalia.

She underwent a redeployment training in Isiolo county for three months, which prepared her for the military task in Somalia.

"So before the three months ended, we transported our belongings to Garissa, then we came back to bid our families goodbye before we could go to Somalia. So when I arrived on Friday, I received a call from an unknown number. He informed me he was a military police officer and they had been sent to search my house.

"After they told me that, I got ready and went to their office so that I could bring them back to my house. They searched and found the bullets. But it was as if he, my boss, had already informed them about the bullets, so they were just playing with my mind, and that was how I lost my job," she claimed.

How long did Zipporah work in KDF?

The single mum claimed her senior boss planted the bullets in her house, wanting her to lose her job.

She said he had spare keys to her one-bedroom house, which she used to access her space when she was away.

"We had argued with my boss some time back, and he had mentioned that I would not go to the Somalia task. I thought he was playing games until this happened. I lost my job in the military after 11 years, 138 days," she alleged.
