"My wife left me because of poverty, so I have to carry my child wherever I go. I run my hustle with my young son tucked into my jacket because I have no one to leave him with. He also burned his hand, and I haven't been able to get him treatment. This bike isn't mine ? I have it on loan and must pay for it daily. But it's hard, especially with the economy and many financial struggles," he said.

His emotional story resonated with many who empathised with the challenges of being a single father trying to make ends meet.

Speaking to TUKO.co.ke, Dan Wema explained his mission to uplift the hardworking dad and encouraged his followers to support the cause.

Why Dan Wema bought Yuri new bike

"The reason we're rallying to buy him a new motorbike is simple: to help him work without constant stress. The bike he currently uses costs him KSh 400 per day in debt for just two days of use ? a burden no one should have to bear, especially a single father in his situation.

A new bike will allow him to operate freely, without the weight of daily debt hanging over him, so he can focus on providing for his son. We also plan to build a house for them, offering a secure and stable environment where they can thrive ? a stark contrast to their current living conditions."

True to his word, Kenyans came together and bought Yuri a new bike and nearly completed the construction of his house, leaving him in awe.

He was overjoyed and grateful to the online community for standing with him in his time of need and helping him find stability.
