Why was Khushboo Rajpurohit travelling to UK?

NDTV reports that the 21-year-old was travelling to London to reunite with her husband, Manfool Singh, for the first time since their wedding in January.

Singh, a student based in London, had been eagerly waiting to begin their life together after months of separation due to visa processing delays.

Moments before boarding, Khushboo took a smiling selfie with a relative at the Ahmedabad airport, a photo that has now become a poignant reminder of a life cut tragically short.

The image, now circulating widely on social media, shows her beaming with excitement and dressed modestly for international travel. It was her first time leaving India.

?She was so happy, so full of life and dreams,? said a grieving relative. ?This was the beginning of a new chapter for her. No one could have imagined that it would end like this.?

Khushboo?s family in Araba is reportedly devastated by the news, as villagers gathered at her home to mourn the loss and support the bereaved family.

Before the disaster, the young woman's father shared a heartfelt WhatsApp story after dropping her at the airport.

He also sent her a message pronouncing his blessings for their marriage, unaware he would never see her alive again.

How Air India flight crashed

The Air India flight, carrying 242 passengers and crew, crashed just minutes after departure, a horrific incident that shocked the nation and the world.

Haunting footage showed the plane descending with its landing gear deployed before disappearing behind buildings and exploding in the distance.
