Omollo, who was diagnosed with bipolar disorder and admitted to Mathare Hospital a few months ago, was later transferred to Mombasa Women's Rehabilitation Centre, where she completed her recovery journey.

Omollo marked her graduation with a radiant smile, dressed in her gown, symbolising the end of a challenging chapter and the start of her return to normal life.

The event was graced by notable figures, including former Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko, who played a crucial role in ensuring she received the medical attention and support needed for her recovery.

Likoni MP Mishi Mboko also attended the ceremony, showing solidarity and support for Omollo.

A fellow journalist expressed excitement about Omollo's progress, saying:

"After several months in a health facility, our friend and colleague Eunice Omollo is finally free of any substance and ready to return to her normal life. Thank you all for standing with her during that difficult period. Eunice will soon bounce back, and may we welcome her with open arms."

Sonko also took to social media to celebrate Omollo?s recovery.

He wrote:

"Jameni kuna Mungu mbinguni na acheni aitwe Mungu. Former Royal Media journalist Kimani Mbugua and his NTV colleague Eunice Omollo are healed and fully recovered."
