Speaking to TUKO.co.ke, Duncan Tuburi revealed that he has been homeless for a very long time, looking for work and a way to make ends meet.

He said he left a wife and two children in Meru county because he could not fend for them.

?I had to leave my wife and two children home in Meru to come here to make money for them, but it has not been easy getting enough even to rent my own house,? he revealed.

The 27-year-old man noted that he did not go to college due to financial constraints and does not have major qualifications.

Tuburi noted that, because of his level of education, he would like any help obtaining work, including cleaning and other handy jobs.

?I have been walking around looking for small jobs to lay my hands on. I did not finish school, so if I can get cleaning jobs or any other hand work, I would really be happy as long as I can fend for my family,? he said.

Kenyans send help to homeless Machakos man

The family man also revealed that Kenyans have been sending him money following the video shared by a social media lady who saw him praying and singing next to her apartment building.

?The lady took the video on October 14 and offered me food and money. Since then, Kenyans have been sending me money, and I really appreciate it,? he stated.

He told TUKO.co.ke that he had used part of the money to rent a house in Mlolongo and sent some to his wife, who had travelled with their children to be with him.

?Because of the help I have received, I have been able to rent a house, and my family travelled from Meru today, and we have reunited,? he explained.

When asked why he was praying alone in a field, Duncan stated that he strongly believes in God and occasionally finds himself in random places preaching and praying.

?I usually just find myself preaching and reading the bible. I can explain how it comes, but I feel the spirit of God come within me every time that happens,? he added.

Dancun Tuburi seeks help

The father of two has expressed interest in employment, asking Kenyans of goodwill to help him get a job.

He noted that the help he has received so far is tremendous, and he would like to work to maintain a steady income and provide for his family.

Anyone interested in reaching him can find him through the phone number 0741030332.

Kenyans on TikTok gift needy Murang?a pupils new shoes and uniform

In a previous report by TUKO.co.ke, Kenyans on TikTok supported a primary school teacher in Murang?a to buy school uniforms and shoes for her pupils.

This was after she shared a heartfelt plea for donations, asking well-wishers to help the kids as their guardians and parents struggled financially.

Her online fans did not disappoint, sending their contributions, which were seen after teacher Marion Mukenyi shared a video of the pupils looking sharp and neat in their new attire.
