According to a Facebook post by Meru Daily, the burial was pushed forward because their land was sold.

"The delay has unearthed shocking details beyond the financial difficulties earlier cited by the family. It has now emerged that the family has no burial site, as the land they live on was sold at an unknown date, and the title deed is in the custody of the buyer," read the Facebook post.

"However, the recent discovery sheds new light on tjhe delays, pointing to the complexities surrounding their living situation and the land dispute," read another part.

TUKO.co.ke contacted Sniper's widow, Irene, to confirm the matter, but she was unwilling to talk about it.

Sniper was strangled to death
