Police in Nairobi are investigating a tragic incident in which a county government employee succumbed to injuries after a tragic fall.

Witnesses indicated that the man clad in the county work uniform fell off the sixth floor of the City Hall Annex, which houses the county headquarters.

Police officers led by Central Officer Commanding Police Division (OCPD) Stephen Okal arrived at the scene after getting information about the tragedy.

The body, which was badly injured owing to the nature of the fall, was taken to the Nairobi Funeral Home as the investigations began.

Okal said the cause of the fall could not be established immediately.

?Investigators are there to know more. It could be a sucide, an accidental fall, someone was escaping or was pushed,? Okal said.
