Baringo Man Surprises Wife with Car on Her 36th Birthday: "She Has Been a Blessing"

Vitalis Kimeli took his church by storm after he surprised his wife, Purity J. Kiptoo, with a Toyota Belta shortly after the service.

The father of four told TUKO.co.ke that the gesture was his way of thanking Purity for being the pillar behind his progress and success.

He disclosed that the two met in 2011 at a kibanda where she was selling chips while he worked as a charcoal burner.

Vitalis Kimeli, a resident of Kabimoi in Eldama Ravine, Baringo County, left his wife in joyful tears after surprising her with a car and cash gift during her 36th birthday celebration.

Vitalis gifted his wife, Purity J. Kiptoo, a new Toyota Belta and KSh 36,000 in cash, a symbolic nod to her age.

Speaking to TUKO.co.ke, the 38-year-old disclosed that the couple has been married for 14 years and are parents to four beautiful daughters.

The emotional surprise occurred shortly after a Sunday service at Redeemed Gospel Church Kabimoi, where the couple worships.

In the presence of friends, family, and fellow congregants, Pastor Agnes Kiptoo led a special dedication of the car and offered prayers to bless the couple?s union.

The surprise took the church members by storm, as many were touched by the couple?s inspiring love story that has stood the test of time and hardship.

A visibly emotional Vitalis recounted their humble beginnings, adding that the heartwarming gesture of love was his show of appreciation to his wife.

?We met in 2011 at a small kibanda selling chips in Kabimoi. She was hustling there while I was working as a charcoal burner,? he revealed. ?Life was tough, but we had love and a shared vision.?

He described Purity as the pillar behind his progress and success, adding that she has been a blessing in his life since they met.

Vitalis says that his wife was the reason for his success, describing her as a loving, caring, and good mother to their children.

"Through her, I am what I am today. More than that, she is a hardworking woman who truly deserves the best,? he said with pride.

Purity, clearly overwhelmed by the moment, tearfully thanked her husband for the kind gesture and the unwavering support he had shown over the years.

?I?m beyond words. This is more than I could ever imagine. I thank God for bringing us together and for the life we?ve built as a family,? she said.

Pastor Agnes, during the blessing ceremony, encouraged other couples to emulate the Kimelis by honouring and appreciating one another.
