Does Kanyari fund Kawira's children's home?

Kawira, who recently launched a children's home to help the needy, clarified that she relies solely on donations from her TikTok audience and contributions from well-wishers.

However, speculation recently surfaced that Kanyari is the main financier behind the initiative.

The claims stemmed from the fact that he donated KSh 100,000 during the launch and pledged an additional KSh 100,000.

Speaking exclusively to TUKO.co.ke, Kawira cleared the air, saying:

"He has not sponsored my foundation and he is not part of it. I also spoke to him and told him that I do not want him to mention anything about any sponsorship because he knows very well that he does not sponsor my foundation. Sitaki kuharibiwa jina na mtu mwenye hakusupport."

This clarification comes shortly after Kanyari went live on TikTok, lamenting that Kawira had betrayed him.

He alleged that he helped her get better living conditions and education, and insinuated that she was unhappy about him helping other women.

In other news, Kawira opened up about a painful chapter in her life, revealing that the money she sent home while working abroad was misused by her family.

She explained that during her three years working in Lebanon, she diligently sent funds to support her family, only to find out that her mother had spent the money irresponsibly.

Visibly emotional during a TikTok live session, Kawira shared how she had sacrificed so much overseas, yet saw about KSh 800,000 go to waste.

Moved by her story, many TikTok users stepped forward with donations.

This incident also helped Kawira gain widespread recognition, cementing her place as a prominent figure on TikTok.
