What was George Ruto doing on Nairobi streets?

George was caught filming his matatu, MoneyFest, which was passing along the way.

He donned a white jersey branded Ziggo, jeans and sneakers with a cap.

In the clip, the president's son could be seen filming a moving vehicle and positioning himself keenly to get the best angle.

He didn't have any security around him. Perhaps they were keeping an eye from a distance. Some young people were seen around him as he filmed using his phone.

This is not the first time George has been seen in public alone. A few months ago, he was captured driving his MoneyFest bus to Rongai.

The clip was shared by Matrix Family, which captioned it:

On Tuesday, April 15, President William Ruto hosted Kenya?s U-20 football team, the Rising Stars, at State House Nairobi ahead of their African Cup of Nations tournament in Egypt.

The president praised the team?s talent and passion, mentioning that his son George is an avid sports fan. Ruto also announced that George is pursuing higher education abroad.

He pledged his support throughout the tournament and promised to attend the finals if the team advanced.

President Ruto also spoke warmly about George?s commitment to football, revealing that his son often encourages him to invest more in sports development in Kenya.

George is currently pursuing a master?s degree in sports management.

George Ruto shows he?s a down-to-earth leader

As we previously told you, he was spotted spending time with matatu crews.

On Sunday, April 20, photos surfaced showing George, a transport industry investor, with the crews of his two matatus, Matrix and MoneyFest.

The pictures, taken in a lush setting, showed drivers and conductors seated on a concrete structure while George stood behind them wearing a black Arsenal jersey, giving a thumbs-up.

The two matatus, Matrix and MoneyFest, are popular PSVs operating along Nairobi?s Embakasi route under the Raptor Family brand.

Another photo featured footballs and trophies, suggesting George may have been hosting a football tournament.
