Where is International Police Organisation based?

On Wednesday, April 16, Mosiria was recognised and awarded an Honorary Certificate by the International Police Organisation (IPO), an international professional and educational NGO headquartered in Milan, Italy.

The prestigious award celebrates Mosiria?s tireless efforts and outstanding leadership in environmental management.

Mosiria becomes the first Kenyan to receive such an honour from the globally respected organisation

Speaking at the award ceremony, IPO Kenya President Andrew Kerr commended Mosiria's unwavering commitment to environmental conservation, noting that his impactful work has been closely monitored and fully merits this historic acknowledgement.

Kerr further encouraged Mosiria to continue championing sustainable environmental practices and inspiring change across borders.

According to Kerr, the recognition underscores Mosiria's dedication to combating pollution, enhancing waste management, and fostering a culture of environmental responsibility within Nairobi.

How Geoffrey Mosiria reacted after winning award

Speaking to TUKO.co.ke, Mosiria said he was privileged to become the first Kenyan to win the award, adding that he does not take the recognition for granted.

According to Mosiria, the award gives him renewed motivation to keep working hard to create positive change in society.

The youthful chief officer affirmed his commitment to restoring the environment by stopping all forms of pollution.

"I was privileged to be recognised and awarded by the International Police Organization for the good work we are doing in the Environment Department. I do not take this for granted, as it gives me renewed motivation and energy to continue working hard towards creating positive change in society. We remain committed to restoring our environment by stopping all forms of pollution and educating the public on the importance of maintaining a clean and green environment," Mosiria said.
