Shollei, the Uasin Gishu Woman Representative, and her husband looked lovely and blissfully in sync, sharing warm smiles and tender moments throughout the day.

The couple?s chemistry and pride in their son?s milestone did not go unnoticed, with guests praising their grace and unity.

?Congrats, my son, Dr Lawrence Kogos and Joy Chepitleh, on your beautiful wedding! Wishing you a joyful, blessed marriage,? Shollei shared on social media, alongside a radiant photo of the newlyweds.

Dr Kogos, Shollei?s son with her first husband, exchanged vows with Chepitleh in a heartfelt ceremony that merged tradition and class.

The bride dazzled in her gown, while the groom looked every bit the proud son and husband in his tailored attire.

The event was not only a celebration of love but also a statement of unity and forward-looking family values.

Among the notable attendees were senior politicians, close family friends, and cultural leaders who blessed the couple and joined in the celebration.

However, Kenyans were quick to notice and question the absence of the groom's biological father.

Jeruto Eunice:

"Being called a son doesn't necessarily mean biological. Those asking about the father, you know nothing."

Kip RU TO:

"In our Kalenjin culture, you can't marry out someone's child or bury him or her when their father is alive. This is an abomination."

It was a wedding to remember ? a day filled with love, laughter, music, and heartfelt blessings as two families came together to witness a beautiful new beginning.

Congratulations to Dr Lawrence Kogos and Joy Chepitleh!
