The talented young actress, whose star had just begun to shine, collapsed and died on the morning of Saturday, April 19, leaving her family, friends, and fans in utter shock and disbelief.

According to early reports, Nimo had not shown any signs of illness before her sudden collapse.

Her body was taken to the Kenyatta University Mortuary as the family awaits a postmortem examination to determine the cause of death.

Actor and filmmaker Tony Sherman, who had a close mentor-mentee relationship with Nimo, confirmed the heartbreaking news to TUKO.co.ke.

He expressed deep sorrow, remembering her not only as a passionate and dedicated actress but also as a vibrant soul full of promise and energy.

"Nimo was so talented and vibrant. We are deeply saddened by her sudden demise. She just collapsed and died, and it?s painful to see a life full of promise cut short in such a tragic way," Sherman said.

He recounted how he met her during her early days in the acting scene at Ebru TV, where he took her under his wing and helped nurture her talent.

"I mentored her when she had just joined the industry. She was very eager to learn and picked up things quickly. I watched her grow, and it was fulfilling to see her land major roles. Her recent achievements included appearances in local productions such as Tahidi High, Cash money ya Netflix, Ndudhi Series, and she had just secured several advertising gigs. Her future was so bright," he added.

Her death has sent ripples across the local film and television industry, with fellow actors, producers, and fans expressing grief and disbelief over the loss of such a promising young star.

Many have taken to social media to pay tribute to Nimo, celebrating her contribution to the industry and expressing condolences to her family.
