What happened at Juma Jux's wedding?

Jux married Priscilla Ojo, daughter of Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo, in a grand traditional wedding held in Lagos on Thursday, April 17.

The ceremony was attended by numerous Nigerian celebrities, including Mercy Aigbe, Destiny Etiko, Mr P, and Toyin Abraham.

The couple had previously exchanged vows in a private Islamic ceremony in Tanzania.

Jux shared his happiness about marrying 24-year-old Priscilla, describing the moment as the fulfilment of a dream. The 35-year-old singer said that from their very first meeting, he sensed she was the right person for him.

Priscilla?s mother supported the union, saying she admires Jux?s strong family values and has always envisioned her daughter settling down in her early twenties.

The traditional wedding dazzled with rich hues of purple, orange, and pink. Priscilla stunned in a long-sleeved asooke top, paired with a voluminous, multi-layered skirt detailed with sparkling stones and sequins, finished off with a matching purple gele and ipele.

Jux stood out in a regal agbada crafted from coordinating purple asooke, decorated with gold and orange accents, and styled with a royal blue cap and a symbolic purple staff topped with a carved map of Africa.

The bridal party brought even more vibrance to the celebration, with the groomsmen donning elegant pink agbadas, while the bridesmaids dazzled in chic pink traditional outfits, complete with matching gele headwraps.

The wedding was a fusion of Tanzanian and Nigerian cultures, symbolising the union of two families and traditions.

A video doing the rounds online showed the Tanzanian singer bowing at his in-laws' feet, as he repeated some words a woman told him.

Diamond arrived for the function in style aboard a black Rolls-Royce. Security was tight as numerous people milled around Diamond and his crew.
